Just like the longest journey that begins with a single step, so does each sampler begin with a single stitch.  All stitches begin the same way, by sticking the needle first in, then out of the fabric.  The only difference between one type of stitch and the other is where you put that needle and how you manipulate the thread.   - Hands Across The Sea

I have received my first two sampler charts from Hands Across the Sea and I have to admit...I am hooked!  What an amazing company of designers.  I am so impressed with how they give such careful attention to reproductions and keeping them as original as possible.  And, of course, they grab my heart with giving as much history of the original stitcher as they can find in their research.  This is a company after my own heart!

I highly recommend Hands Across the Sea - quality in their printing, their designs, and the paper and format they use!  I found these two on sale at a great online store called SassyJacksstitchery.com.

This is just a space to share what projects I'm currently working on while I sit and listen to the quietness of the day and the friends I encounter.
